German racing driver Niklas Kruetten is set to embark on an exciting new challenge with Mercedes in the 2025 International GT Open, joining forces with Team Motopark. After previously racing together in Euroformula Open in 2020, Kruetten and Motopark are reuniting to compete in one of Europe’s most competitive GT3 championships.

German racing driver Niklas Kruetten made a strong impression in his first season in the prestigious Japanese Super GT Series. The 21-year-old motorsport talent secured the title of Best Rookie of the 2024 season with consistently strong performances and an outstanding top-5 finish.

Niklas Krütten produced an impressive display in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe: together with his Australian team-mate in the BMW M4 GT3, Calan Williams, the 20-year-old from Trier celebrated winning the title in the Gold Cup, two podiums, and their best overall result of the year.

20-year-old Niklas Krütten was at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain last weekend for the penultimate round of the 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe. The man from Trier and his team-mates Calan Williams (AUS) and Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (FRA) finished fourth in the Gold Cup and 21st overall at the 4.675-kilomtre track in the northeast of Spain.

20-year-old Niklas Krütten started in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia last weekend. The driver from Trier and his Australian team-mate Calan Williams showed impressive pace in their BMW M4 GT3 at the 4.005-kilometre track in the east of Spain. However, collisions in the early stages of both races, through no fault of their own, put an early end to any hopes of victory.
