Provision of the website / log files

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer. This is standard traffic data such as the time of access, the IP address from which the access originated, the name and version of the web browser, as well as certain cookies and other Internet technologies. The data is also stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user. The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session. The storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context. These purposes are also our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO in conjunction with Art. 28 DSGVO (order processing agreement).

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. In the case of storage of data in log files, this is the case after fourteen days at the latest. Storage beyond this period is possible in exceptional cases. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or alienated so that an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility for the user to object. This website and its log files are hosted on our behalf exclusively on servers in certified data centres within Europe.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files consisting of a series of numbers and letters that are stored on the terminal device you are using. Cookies neither transmit viruses nor can they execute programs. Rather, their primary purpose is to exchange information between the terminal device you are using and our website in order to make our internet offer more user-friendly for you. Some elements of our website require that the calling browser can be identified even after a page change. In particular, information on language settings or login information may be stored in these cookies. A distinction must be made between temporary (transient) cookies and persistent cookies. Transient cookies include, in particular, session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the joint session. This enables our website to recognise your computer when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a set period of time, which may vary depending on the cookie. You have the option to delete these cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

Our legitimate interest in data processing lies in the aforementioned purposes. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Since the cookies are stored on your computer, you as a user also have full control over the use of cookies. You have the option of specifying via the security settings of your browser whether cookies are stored at all. For example, you can choose not to accept cookies from the outset or only accept them on request, or you can specify that cookies are deleted each time you close your browser. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all the functions of the website to their full extent.

Storage period / deletion

We delete or block your personal data as soon as the purpose of storage has been achieved or ceases to apply. Any further storage will only take place if we are required to do so by national or European regulations. In this case, the data will be blocked or deleted when the storage period prescribed by the respective regulations has expired, unless we need your data to fulfil a contract concluded between us or if this is necessary to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Contacting us via contact form, e-mail, social media or telephone

If you use a contact form offered on our website or contact us by e-mail, telephone or social media and provide us with personal data, this data may be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry. This data will only be processed for the purpose of communicating with you. Your data will not be passed on to third parties. We need your name to be able to address you in our reply. We need your e-mail address to be able to answer your enquiry. We need your telephone number in order to be able to comply with your request to call you back. The legal basis for the aforementioned use of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The personal data we collect will be deleted if it is no longer necessary. We regularly review the necessity. In addition, you can revoke the data processing at any time. You can prevent the storage and processing of your personal data by refraining from using the contact form.

Newsletter

We send out a newsletter at regular intervals to inform journalists, business partners and interested parties about our commitment and related news. You have the option of registering for our newsletter on our website and agreeing to receive the newsletter as part of the registration process. When you register for the newsletter, the data from the respective input mask is transmitted to us. In addition, the IP address of the calling computer as well as the date and time of the action are collected during registration and confirmation (double opt-in). Your consent is obtained for the processing of the data during the registration process and reference is made to this data protection declaration. We do not pass on the aforementioned data to third parties. The aforementioned processes and interests constitute the purpose for which the data is stored. The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The subscription to our newsletter can be cancelled by the user concerned at any time. For this purpose, a corresponding unsubscribe link can be found at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, an informal message to us is sufficient, see contact details of the person responsible.

We use the newsletter system of Inxmail GmbH, Wentzingerstr. 17, 79106 Freiburg, Germany to send newsletters as part of our commissioning of adrivo GmbH, Liebenauer Hauptstrasse 34, 8041 Graz, Austria, which creates and sends the newsletters for us. Your voluntarily provided personal data will be passed on to these service providers in order to carry out the dispatch of the newsletters. The service providers may use your data in pseudonymised form, i.e. without assigning it to a user, to optimise or improve their own services, e.g. to technically optimise the dispatch and presentation of the newsletters or for statistical purposes. However, the service providers are not authorised to write to you themselves or to pass on your data to third parties. The service providers act on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and a contract processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 para. 3 p. 1 DSGVO.

Social Media Plugins

Our website uses social media plugins from the providers listed below. You can recognise which plug-in belongs to which provider by the respective logo with which the plug-in is marked. When you call up one of our pages on which a plug-in is implemented, a connection is automatically established between your browser and the provider's servers with the respective provider of the plug-in. Data is already transmitted to the provider at this point. In addition, data is transmitted to the provider as a result of further interactions with the respective social plug-in (e.g. clicking the "Like me" button on Facebook, re-tweet button on Twitter). If you have an account with the provider, this data can be linked to it. To prevent such a linking of your data, you can log out of the provider's service before visiting our site.

The data collected may be stored and analysed by the provider in order to create user profiles for the purposes of advertising and market research. You have a right of revocation against the creation of user profiles. To exercise this right, you must contact the provider of the plug-in.

You can find out for what purpose and to what extent data is collected by the provider in the respective data protection declarations of the providers, which are communicated below.

We ourselves do not collect any personal data by means of the social media plugins or through their use. We have no influence on what data an activated plugin collects and how this data is used by the provider.

We use social plugins from the following companies on our website:

Facebook

Furthermore, we use plugins from Facebook on our website. Facebook is a service of Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304 - USA.

When you call up a web page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which then integrates it into the website. We therefore have no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and can therefore only inform you according to our level of knowledge, which we do herewith: When you visit our website, Facebook obtains and stores your IP address, even if you are not a member of the social media provider Facebook. However, according to its own information, Facebook only stores an anonymised IP address in Germany. Facebook also receives information about which page of our website you have accessed. If you are a Facebook member and logged into your account, Facebook can assign your visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and store your IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymised IP address is stored in Germany. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the related rights and setting options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook's privacy policy: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via this offer and link it to its membership data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. In addition, you have the option of blocking Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the "Facebook Blocker". Further settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

Based on separate written agreements, we also have personal data processed by service providers within the framework of order processing relationships pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO. This does not involve the transfer of your personal data to third parties in the sense of data protection law. We remain responsible to you under data protection law.
